Every career and field of study can benefit from Odyssey of the Mind™ trained students. Industry wants people who have the confidence to tackle any issue that comes up, the ability to work well with others, experience at staying within a budget and time constraints, and to find different ways to solve all sorts of problems. Because of this, Odyssey of the Mind™ has had a wide range of partners and sponsors over the years — from IBM and Microsoft to NASA.
You can find more about some amazing former OMers as they talk about how Odyssey of the Mind benefited them in their careers! Dr. Mary Killackey (Chair of the Department of Surgery at Tulane University), Dr. Eric Corndorf (VP of Research and Development at Medtronic), Vanessa Richards (Broadcast Meteorologist), Stefan Hubner (Senior Advisor for the German Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture), and Betsy Schow (Author) all share their Odyssey Journeys!
