Assumption School Heads to Odyssey of the Mind World Finals
Congratulations to Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary’s (ABVM) 6th, 7th, and 8th grade Odyssey of the Mind teams for winning the Southern California tournament! All three teams will be competing in the World Finals! Odyssey of the Mind is an international problem-solving competition, where teams work together to solve intricate problems. Assumption School have historically done well at competition, but this year is special… all three of its teams qualified to compete at the World Finals!
Here are the teams:
8th Grade team: 1st Place for Southern California!
This team built a stored-energy ride-on vehicle that completed an obstacle course.
7th Grade team: 2nd Place for Southern California!
This team created a skit where children’s story books come alive!
6th Grade team: 3rd Place for Southern California!
This team built a stored-energy ride-on vehicle that completed an obstacle course.
